B&L Information Systems Spectrum 2014
Held annually for the more than 15 years, Spectrum is B&L’s customer conference for Odyssey and BLIS software users. Spectrum starts with an evening event on Sunday, October 26th, followed by two full days of classroom sessions. Classroom sessions typically include over 20 mini-class options, several sets of panel discussions, moderated idea swap gatherings, and exploratory classes with B&L business partners. B&L staff is also available for in-person meetings to review any specific concerns or issues.
Bruce S. Wilkinson, CSP, has been named keynote speaker for the event, with a Tuesday morning address on the topic of working and communicating with multi-generational co-workers and teams. Wilkinson is a leadership/communication/culture implementation specialist, trainer and consultant, who re-inforces personalized messages with humor, passion, enthusiasm and authenticity. His mission is to help organizations translate their culture into a workplace climate that inspires leadership excellence, service and personal accountability.
“Key to Spectrum planning is creating good training for successful implementations and continued software system use,” remarked Kristine Craft, Manager – Professional Services. “Communication is essential element of all good team building and any successful implementation.
“Each year for Spectrum, staff from all B&L departments contribute to creating mini-classes based on industry needs coupled with feedback from clients. Our goal is to expand on what we had the year before at Spectrum,” Craft added. For 2014, she noted, users will experience more than a typical review of a specific module. "We plan on being more hands-on," she said, "and are creating new mini-classes as well as new role-based classes. 2014 will be an exciting year for our Spectrum attendees.”
