The CGV-900 offers built-in compliance, allowing the unit to compensate for irregularities in part surfaces and maintain contact with a workpiece. The compliance force is adjustable, so users can fine-tune finishing processes in real time.

Sinto’s New Venture Adds Environmental Controls

Zero-emissions control technology Integrated controls and targeted systems

Sinto America Inc. and CTP Chemisch Thermische Prozesstechnik GmbH recently formed a joint venture -- CTP Sinto America LLC – that will design and manufacture environmental control systems and equipment for the North American market. The terms of the each partner’s stake and the capitalization of the new venture were not announced.

Sinto America Inc. is a subsidiary of Sintokogio Ltd., Nagoya, Japan, which designs and builds foundry process equipment, and engineers manufacturing systems for surface treatment, particulate control, motion control, and dust-handling systems on a plantwide scale.

The group’s North American holdings include Roberts Sinto Corp., Roberts Sinto de Mexico, and SandMold Systems.

CTP is headquartered in Graz, Austria. It develops technologies to achieve “emissions close to zero” for most industrial operations, emphasizing minimal total cost of ownership. Its designs include regenerative thermal and catalytic oxidation processes to reduce volatile organic compounds. Selective catalytic and non-catalytic reduction processes are used to destroy NOx

CTP’s list of capabilities includes integrated systems (e.g., controlling multiple emission sources, siliceous organic compounds, noxious odors, particulate matter, dioxins, furans, and more); as well as specific control capabilities for oxidation, reduction, and adsorption.

In its statement, Sinto America explained that the joint venture adds CTP environmental control systems and equipment to the Sinto line for North American manufacturers.

“We expect most of the systems to be manufactured and tested in North America utilizing proprietary components and technology from CTP Austria,” according to Sinto America, in its announcement. “Roberts Sinto’s and Sandmold Systems’ service staff will support this product line with assistance from CTP as needed.”
