Thresher Industries Inc., a manufacturer of aluminum and metal-matrix composite diecastings, has formed partnership with Advanced Fuel Technologies — a financial media service that represents “groundbreaking, ‘green’ small-cap stocks.” AFT helps its clients to increase their “market visibility,” raise capital, and attract shareholders. "We have teamed up with AFT to help expand our market awareness and attract green-minded investors to our company,” stated Thresher president and CEO Tom Flessner. “Thresher is growing rapidly, based on a number of new orders and our recent entry into the heat-sink marketplace. Now is a great time to increase our outreach and build the recognition in the public markets that we merit as our achievements." Earlier this month Thresher introduced a thermal conductive diecast aluminum composite that it intends to market as a heat sink to LED (light-emitting diode) lighting manufacturers. Because of their long service life and high energy efficiency (150-200 lumens per Watt), some industry experts believe LEDs will become a standard of illumination in coming years. Thresher said its goal is to advance the development of LED lighting by providing the heat dissipation required during manufacturing. "Companies that assemble innovative, ‘green’ manufactured patented products, proprietary eco-friendly technologies and or renewable energy solutions are ahead of the curve, and Thresher Industries is all of the above," stated Casey Bane, CEO of Advanced Fuel Technologies.
