Monofilament mesh bags in sewn or welded construction for water and wastewater treatment, chemical processing, and metal plating.

HAYWARD FLOW CONTROL launched an expanded line of filter bag products, including new sizes (16 in. and 32 in.), with material options in polypropylene, polyester and nylon. The new selection includes needle felt and monofilament mesh in sewn or welded construction. The developer indicated the new products are an ideal fit for the new FLV series thermoplastic bag filter system, with its one-piece injection molded platinum GF-PP body and multiple end connections and sizes.

Available with PP Rings or PP Flanges, the bags are available from 1- to 800-micron rating for diversified separation in liquid systems, or to protect any process application.

Other critical design features include: silicon-free material; single (7×16) or double (7×32) length; and sewn (with sewn-in cloth handles) or welded construction. For the 16-in. bags the maximum flow rate is 90 gpm; for the 32-in. bags the maximum flow rate is 180 gpm.

The bags are available in quantities of 50 units per carton. Typical applications or installations include water and wastewater treatment, chemical process, metal plating, and many others.

Hayward Flow Control is an ISO 9001:2008-certified manufacturer of industrial thermoplastic valves, tank accessories, filters, strainers, actuation devices, and pumps.
