High-Temp, Boron-Nitride Coating
AREMCO PRODUCTS’ Pyro-Paint 634-BNSC is a high-temperature, nonwetting, boron-nitride filled coating used to protect metal and refractory surfaces from corrosion by molten aluminum, magnesium, and glass in applications up to 1,560°F. Frequently applied to refractory foundry structures, such as crucibles, ladles, troughs, and diffusion tubes, it provides a highly lubricious and chemically resistant interface between molten material and the underlying refractory structure, resulting in increased system life.
