FILTERSENSE Model PS 10 particulate flow/emission sensors are engineered for harsh processes with high temperatures and high pressures. It is designed for applications in combustion and incineration, including coal gasification, fluid bed reactors, kilns, high-temperature carbon black, and other operations. Temperature ratings up to 1,600°F and pressure ratings to 1,000 PSI are available.

There are no active electronics in the sensor housing, providing high reliability. The sensor is mounted remotely via electronic control units that apply advanced digital signal processing to provide exceptional performance in the extreme conditions.

Applications include monitoring particulate emissions from fabric filters and particulate flow in process pipes.

FilterSense also offers the Model DP 20T (differential) and SP 20T (static) pressure transmitters for dust collectors, with a non-clogging design for mounting on the dirty side of a fabric filter baghouse or cartridge style dust collector. The 4-20mA transmitters are more reliable than typical “tube” style electronic and mechanical gauges that easily clog.

The transmitters feature a large, flush ceramic diaphragm that is abrasion resistant and also resists clogging. Both the differential and static configuration are available in various ranges including 0-10 in. WC, 0-20 in. WC, and bidirectional -5 in. to +5 in. WC. Construction is heavy duty and all stainless steel.
