This one-week course, presented in English, is designed for engineers and scientists from industry and research centers who wish to improve their knowledge in the field of solidification. The goal of the course is to understand better the physics and the phenomena behind the solidification defects and problems (porosity, cracks, microstructures, segregation, stresses, ...) that metalcasting operations are troubleshooting everyday.
