Higher-Performance Grinding Wheels

Grinds metal faster than typical aluminum oxide wheels; will not discolor or warp stainless steel

CGW-CAMEL GRINDING WHEELS is introducing Green Grind, a high-performance, depressed-center grinding wheel manufactured from a premium bond and zirconia-aluminum oxide grain mixture. The developer indicated the new wheel coolly grinds metal 50% faster than typical aluminum oxide wheels and will not discolor or warp stainless steel.

Containing less than 0.1% of sulfur, chlorine and iron, Green Grind wheels are recommended for metal part manufacturing and fabrication, and specific functions like tank fabrication and power plant maintenance. Green Grind wheels can be used on mild steel, hard face, titanium, stainless steel, Inconel, and aluminum metals.

The new Green Grind wheels are available in 36-grit size, type 27 shape, with 4.5-, 5-, and 7-in. diameters, with a 7/8- or 5/8-inch-11 arbor hole.

“CGW’s new Green Grind wheels are exceptionally fast and run smoothly, providing quieter working and less operator fatigue,”according to Joe O’Mera, president, CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels.

CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels has been supplying grinding wheels since 1956. Its 100,000-sq.ft. plant serves as a centralized U.S. warehouse, with manufacturing capabilities, and includes customer service, sales, and marketing departments.
