On October 1 of this year, the Casting Industry Suppliers Assn. will be 100 years old. We have survived this long because of the fantastic companies that belong to the organization. Our member companies support each other to facilitate growth and prosperity. Our officers and board of directors, from member companies, are committed to making significant contributions to promote the success of the metalcasting Industry.
CISA member companies enjoy benefits derived through a group focus on the market statistics and trends, credit, quality, safety and management education and ideas.
Our “Code of Ethics” is priority number one for selling equipment, materials, and engineering services and systems to the metalcasting industry.
Our organization’s leadership volunteers from member companies are talented people who are the “best of the best” in the industry, selflessly serving the CISA membership, and helping to make all of us better suppliers to the foundry industry.
Mike Bartol, who will complete his two-year term as the CISA President in November, is one of these special individuals, and the CISA organization takes this opportunity to thank him for his dedication to our organization. Mike, we appreciate your leadership as President of the Association. Your service during the past term has been a significant influence to the growth and strengthening of our association.
Our long relationship with Foundry Management & Technology has helped us remain a viable organization while serving the membership and the foundry industry. FM&T provides a forum for our member companies to explain, share and relate new technology and management ideas, while fostering rewarding professional and business relationships. Many of the key technical people from CISA member companies have supplied articles and information in FM&T over the years that continue to benefit foundries. CISA thanks Foundry Management & Technology for the opportunity to sponsor the August issue and to communicate with the industry.
