LECO CORP.’s new CS744 Series carbon/sulfur analyzer was developed for accurate, wide-range measurement of carbon and sulfur content of metals, ores, ceramics, and other inorganic materials. Its design features include a variable-power combustion furnace and rugged design, in line with the demands of the industrial environment.
An improved IR cell design with thermostatic construction improves the system's protection from ambient temperature fluctuations, and offers simultaneous detection for both carbon and sulfur. A high-velocity vacuum system keeps dust and debris contained, and optional 10- and 60-sample autoloaders are available for maximum productivity.
The CS744 Series uses LECO’s Cornerstone software, which provides users with complete access to analysis control, method settings, diagnostics, reporting, and more in a highly-organized and immersive environment. Developed as a collaborative product of customer feedback and expert engineering, Cornerstone lets users conduct all of their day-to-day operations from a single analysis screen, designed for speedy operation and ease-of-use. A grouping of sample data simplifies data output and automatically calculates relevant statistics, alleviating the need for additional data processing.
Several different models and configurations of CS744 Series are available, including an optional, boom-mounted touch-screen monitor with improved ergonomics.
