L.S. STARRETT CO., manufacturers of metrology systems, precision measuring tools, and gages, introduced the latest video system in its KMR Series – the KMR-MX 200 manual video system. The new system offers a novel platform, filling the gap for companies that want the speed and accuracy of a video-based platform but do not need Windows® -based software or a PC. “We are very pleased to offer our customers a new option for video inspection and measurement which ensures the highest quality control, without requiring a PC,” said Mark Arenal, general manager, The L.S. Starrett Company – Metrology Division
The KMR-MX 200 has a manually driven 8x4-in. (200x100-mm) X-Y stage motion with a 5-in. (125-mm) Z-travel, paired with a 6.5:1 zoom lens. The system includes a MetLogix™ Mx200 digital readout in a stacked display format with a 14-in. (355-mm) monitor. Scale resolution is 0.5 μm.
