The ExOne Company established a new “physical and virtual” site at its North Huntingdon, PA, headquarters to help customers “explore and implement” the advantages of its binder jet technology. The Design and Re-Engineering for Additive Manufacturing (“DREAM”) Center provides customers with global access to ExOne’s technical expertise, with access to the most advanced software currently available for creating designs for metal components that maximize the benefits of additive manufacturing.
ExOne is a developer of 3D printing machines to industrial operations, and also produces 3D printed products for industrial customers. It also offers phenolic and sodium-silicate binders for 3D sand printing, and a portfolio of metal alloys for 3D printing operations. In addition, it develops and licenses metal alloys for its 3D printing capabilities.
ExOne said its DREAM Center would be a catalyst for producing 3D parts “without the limitations of traditional manufacturing.”
“As we focus on accelerating the adoption rate of our binder jetting technology for industrial manufacturing of metal components, we’re excited to launch our world-class DREAM center. It is an integrated engineering environment supporting our customers, our production service centers, our research and development activities, and our global sales team,” according to S. Kent Rockwell, ExOne chairman and CEO.
Rockwell said the DREAM center would promote better customer training and design support, helping users to optimize 3D printing, with benefits it to the customers’ manufacturing processes.
