Sinto America Adding Tinker Omega

Nov. 5, 2024
The Michigan operation will absorb the manufacturing activities for the supplier of sand processing machinery.

Tinker Omega Sinto LLC, the Springfield, OH, supplier of processing equipment for chemically bonded sand, will be consolidated with the Sinto America Group under the Roberts Sinto operation in Grand Ledge, MI, beginning January 1, 2025. The news was announced by company president Wil Tinker in late October.

Tinker Omega was formed as a partnership in 2001 by Tinker and Mark Fenyes of Omega Foundry Machinery Ltd. in Peterborough, England.

Sinto America Inc. is the North American holding company for Roberts Sinto Corp., Roberts Sinto de Mexico, National Peening, Technical Metal Finishing, Frohn North America, and 3D Ceram Sinto Inc. It is wholly owned by Sintokogio Ltd., Japan.

After January 1, incoming orders for equipment and parts will be manufactured and supplied from the Michigan operation, maintaining the Tinker Omega Sinto brand and supported by the current sales team for the Tinker Omega product lines and spare parts. The Ohio operation will continue as a sales and engineering office for the brand.

“We are very excited by the opportunity this provides and believe it will strengthen our offerings, support and service as we become part of this global organization,” according to the announcement.
