Bremen Castings Inc., an Indiana foundry and machine shop, has chosen B&L Information Systems’ Odyssey software in its effort to implement a continuous-improvement initiative, and to improve profitability. BCI produces gray and ductile iron castings for automotive suppliers and heavy-equipment manufacturers, including John Deere, Eaton Corp. Rockwell Automation, Toro, and AM General.

B&L Information Systems develops metalcasting-specific ERP software that has been chosen by more than 375 metalcasters around the world. The company explains that it designed its Odyssey software to match the way foundries and diecasters operate, to make it easier for the users to learn and work with it. “With Odyssey, metalcasters can maximize their resources, minimize costs, and improve profitability,” according to B&L.
