May 2, 2006 -- Accuride Corp. has appointed Leigh Wright as vice president and general manager of its Accuride Steel Wheels division. The Evansville, IN, company has manufacturing plans in Henderson, KY; London, ON; and Monterrey, Mexico. Since early 2004, Wright has been Accuride's director of operations at the London plant.
Accuride manufacturers and supplies commercial vehicle components that include wheels, wheel-end components and assemblies, truck body and chassis parts, seating assemblies and other commercial vehicle components. Its products are marketed under the Accuride, Gunite, Imperial, Bostrom, Fabco, and Brillion brands.
Wright has more than 20 years of management experience, mostly in the heavy truck industry. He earned a M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, a C.I.M. from McMaster University, and a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist diploma from Fanshawe College in London, ON.
